Innovative Waste Management Solutions
Our Solid Waste Disposal Facilities are at the forefront of the industry, designed with sustainability and efficiency in mind. Our conscious investment in state-of-the-art reclamation and separation plants allows us to offer a cleaner, dryer, and significantly smaller landfill operation, dramatically reducing the environmental footprint of traditional waste disposal methods. By integrating advanced technologies and innovative processes, we ensure that every aspect of solid waste management is handled with the utmost care and environmental consciousness.

Comprehensive Handling of Non-Hazardous Wastes
Our facilities specialize in a wide array of non-hazardous oil and gas wastes, catering to the diverse needs of the industry. We manage everything from drilling fluids and cuttings, contaminated soils and pad cleanup materials, to cement and gels, and flowback sand. Additionally, we handle completion fluids, produced water, and other types of non-hazardous oil and gas wastes. Each type of waste is treated with specialized processes that are tailored to minimize environmental impact while maximizing the potential for waste material reclamation and recycling.
Integrated Recycling and Reclamation Processes
Furthermore, our Solid Waste Disposal Facilities process treated solid residuals from our Hawk and Dove reclamation plants. This integration of services ensures a comprehensive waste management cycle—from initial collection and treatment to final disposal or recycling. By maintaining tight control over every step of the process, we ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and work toward our goal of zero waste. Desert Environmental is committed to pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a responsible steward of the environment, making our solid waste disposal facilities a trusted partner in the oil and gas sector.

What We Do
Reclamation Facilities (“R9”)
Hawk Reclamation Facility: Specializes in processing tank and crude terminal bottoms along with other liquid-based production solids. Uses the R9 reclamation process to separate hydrocarbons from the solid and liquid constituents. The separated solids go to the landfill, while the liquids are directed to onsite saltwater disposal wells.
